Restorative Parenting - starting 14 November 2018

A 3 week workshop from 11.45am – 2.45pm at Bramley Resource Centre

For parents of children aged 6+

This course will look at your personal conflict styles, and support you to learn restorative approaches and how to use these within your family to resolve issues more effectively.

 

 

Baby Massage - starting Autumn 2018

Learn how to massage your little one, and learn the benefits of massage on baby-parent communication, relaxation and to encourage sleep. £1.50 per family.

The next course will start in the Autumn Term on Tuesday afternoons at Hollybush Annexe.

 

  

Baby Steps

 

Baby Steps is a course for parents to be which starts after the 26th week of pregnancy.  The course is designed to help mums-to-be and their partners get ready for being a parent and looks at a baby's development right from the start; what could change when becoming a new parent, and talks about giving birth and how parents can get to know their baby.

The aim of the course is to reach parents who need additional support. To find out if you are eligible please speak to your midwife or ring Baby Steps Office on 0113 3788533.

 

 

Preparation for Birth and Beyond

A course for ‘first time Mums to be’ after the 28th week of pregnancy. 

The aim of course is to give information to parents about the pregnancy, birth and after their baby is born.

The course offers practical ideas such as, feeding, bathing and changing. It also looks at the learning development of children and how to read and react to babies' communication. The course helps parents/ carers to get to know their baby.
